Pastoral Services
The mission of the Pastoral Services Department is to provide a ministry of emotional support and spiritual care.
The following services are available.
Ministry to the Sick – Visits to hospitals and homes at times of acute episodes. Also, follow-up calls.
Caring Contact – Cards and or notes are sent to members who would benefit from a little extra support or who have a joyful event to celebrate.
New Parent Ministry – Stays in touch with new parents and finds ways to support them during the all-consuming, isolating infancy period of a child.
Counseling – Available to members for marriage preparation, for needed encouragement, and for those experiencing some form of life change.
Baptisms – Available to members on a quarterly basis.
Baby Dedications – Available to members and can be scheduled on a selected Sunday.
Funerals/Memorial Services – Available to members and can be scheduled as appropriate.
Weddings/Receptions - Available to members and can be scheduled as appropriate.

FIWC believes that every christian is born with purpose, and God is honored when we allow him to fulfill that purpose that only He can give. We provide the tools, biblical training, leadership training and create an atmosphere that encourages spiritual growth. We are a people of destiny & integrity as things are done in the spirit of excellence. We realize that our pastor can’t do things along therefore we have implemented the Ministry of Helps. The Ministry of Helps supports the pastor by providing help in the spirit of unity to display spiritual strengths and personal integrity.
