WOMEN OF POSITIVE CHANGE

Who We Are: 

Women of Positive Change is a women’s ministry of Faith International Worship Center, Conyers, Ga.  We are instructed to teach on topics  for women allowing  them to participate in the deliverance of themselves in order to come into the divine presence of God.  We have a mandate from God to nurture, love, and build up one another. 

We are commissioned to minister to the needs of individuals imparting wisdom, knowledge and understanding in an instructional environment.  This is  accomplished through prayer, teaching, workshops, seminars, conferences and preaching the Word of God while providing a  wonderful time of laughter, tears, learning, and fellowship as we share from our hearts about the power of living a life overflowing with the love of God. 

Making A Great Decision

Every Person has a choice to make a right decision.  Your decision to follow Jesus Christ is the most important decision you’ll ever make.  What Must I Do?
Step #1  Stop sinning.  Sinning means that you have failed to do what God requires of you in order to be in right relationship with Him.  For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God…(Romans 3:23)  As a sinner, you cannot please God.
Step # 2  Receive Salvation.  You are saved by grace.  Grace is favor that God gives.  For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and that is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God — not by works, so that no one can boast.  (Ephesians 2:8-9).
Step #3  Baptism  in water and/or the Holy Spirit.  Baptism in water is an act of worship through which believers express their faith and commitment to the Lord.  Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit…(Matthew 28:19).  The word baptism means “the process of immersion or submersion,” or “to be fully wet.”  It symbolizes that the believer outwardly affirms the inward commitment he has made to Jesus Christ as the Lord of his life.  Baptism in the Holy Spirit is a baptism with power!  Jesus is the baptizer with the Holy Spirit.  The Holy Spirit gives you the power to witness, to resist sin and the devil, and to be all that God intended you to be in His kingdom. 

Things To Remember

If you are saved, you have the person of the Holy Spirit (1Corinthians 3:16, Romans 8:9)
The gift of the Holy Spirit is a promise for all who ask (Luke 11:11-13)
Any believer may receive the gift of the Holy Spirit (Joel 2:28-29)
The Holy Spirit gives power to witness (Acts 1:8)
The Holy Spirit helps us to pray (Romans 8:26)
A person may be water baptized and saved but not yet be baptized in the Holy Spirit (Acts 8:14-16)
Speaking in tongues is a sign, or evidence, of the baptism in the Holy Spirit (Acts 10:44-46)
Some believers may receive the baptism in the Holy Spirit before they are baptized in water (Acts 10:46-48)
The word baptize means to “put under” or “to cover.”  When a person is baptized in the Holy Spirit, he is totally immersed, or enveloped, in the Spirit of God.
When  you speak in tongues, you speak to God and at the same time build up your inner man.  God wants to have fellowship with you!  He desires to have a close, intimate relationship with you.  He wants to be involved in all aspects of your life, and He wants you to willingly share your life with Him.  He even made you in His image so that He could have fellowship with you (Genesis 5:1).  Because of His great love for you, He sent the Holy Spirit to dwell in you so that you could always have communion with Him
(John 14:16-17).

ADMINISTRATION – Manages the business of the church and affairs
ALTAR- Praying for others at a place consecrated to devotional observances
AUDIO Visual - Provide audio and video support for ministry services and events,
including production and post production services. 
CHILDREN’S Ministry – “Royal Kids of Faith”- Provides ministry to ages 2 mths – 5 years

Children Ministry Ages 6 – 12 A ministry developed to help shape and mold young minds through God’s word.  The curriculum is based on biblical principles and administered by qualified staff.

1. CELEBRATION ARTS/PERFORMING ARTS (Directed Praise, Drama) – Present Holy Spirit-led events and activities in the area of dance and drama.  Children, youths and adults are encouraged to freely express their creative talents and gifts in the praise and worship unto God.
   

2. COUPLES Ministry (married) – Developed to build strong Christian-centered marriages through effective communication and participation based on the word of God.
   
   
3. FAITH – A VOICE BEING HEARD – Acts as a voice to the community.  Keeps members and visitors informed about community and kingdom related concerns.
   
   
4. EVENT PLANNING - Provides planning and support for the FIWC ministry and community events, including event setup and catering. 
   
   
5. FACILITY MANAGEMENT- A ministry designed to maintain the upkeep of the building & grounds
   
   
6. GREETERS – Our greeters are dedicated to serving our members and guest by making their visit to our ministry a comforting and enjoyable experience.  They greet you with a heartfelt smile and a hug, and they serve you with the utmost attention and care.
   
   
7. HOSPITALITY – Provides friendly reception; generous treatment to guests
   
   
8. INTERCESSORY PRAYER – Interceding with God on behalf of man
   
   
9. Mass MEDIA – Provides internet services, print media, TV/Radio, marketing and promotions support.
   
   
10. Men Fellowship –– Provides a forum for men to meet and get to know each other better.  We seek to offer a variety of interesting activities and opportunities for discussion and mutual sharing among members.
    
    
11. OUTREACH COMMUNITY WITNESS TEAM – An organized team with the sole purpose of going into the hedges and highways and compelling people to come to the Kingdom Of God
    
    
12. NEW MEMBERS –  This ministry is a helpful introduction to FIWC and its mission.  History, theology and policy is discussed, as well as what is expected of members new to the congregation.  Participants will meet and hear from key leaders of the ministry and learn about the breadth of ministries here at FIWC.
    Praise Team The praise team is a vital part of the music ministry at FIWC, focused on bringing the congregation into the awareness of God’s presence resulting in pure praise and worship

14. SINGLES - Developed to educate singles on the importance and joys of spreading the Gospel during their singleness.

16. Women Fellowship – A dynamic community of women offering a stimulating variety of activities and benefits.  We bring women of all ages together to work, to play, and to provide opportunities for growth within the spiritual community. 
    
    
17. Youth – “Destined”- Provides ministry for ages 6 yrs – 12 yrs
    
    
18. YOUNG ADULTS -“DeterMYnation”- Provides ministry for ages 13 yrs – 17 yrs A ministry ordained to reclaim the souls and minds of the youth in our church, community and nation, and to help develop responsible, disciplined and fruitful Christians.
