Dr. Joe A. Whitehead, Sr.
Dr. Joe A. Whitehead, Sr., a native of Georgia received his ministry calling in 1977. He serves as Senior Pastor / founder of Faith International Worship Center . He is a humble servant with a heart to minister to the needs of God’s people and is well acquainted with the moving of the Holy Spirit as he leads this prophetic ministry of disciples.
Pastor Joe attended Beulah Heights Bible College; Jacksonville Theological Seminary and Restoration Theological Seminary. He holds a B.A. in Pastoral Counseling, a M.A. in Christian Counseling and a Doctorate of Thelogy. He is licensed by the Board of Examiners for Georgia Christian Counselors & Therapists and is a member of the Georgia Christian Counseling Association. He is also trained & certified as a bereavement counselor (a citizen Corp Council and GEMA member) for the Bereavement Emergency Response Team sponsored by Embracing HOSPICECARE. Dr. Joe A. Whitehead, Sr. is a member of A.I.M. (Association of Independent Ministries) - Drs. I.V. and Bridget Hilliard of Houston Texas.
During his junior year in High School (1975), he met the lovely Betty Zachery. To this lifetime union, 3 lovely, blessed, powerful, and anointed children (Shakela, Joe Jr. and Shamilia), 2 sons-in-love (Harold and Levi), 1 daughter-in-love (Melissa) and 5 grandchildren (Jayden, Darion, Ramiyah, Johnathan and Caleb) are the joy of their lives.
Pastor Joe is the 1st child of 3 children born to Joe W. Whitehead and Minister Geraldine Cheves. His stepfather is Minister Edward Cheves. Both of his parents reside in Georgia.

Dr. Betty L. Whitehead - Dr B,
A native of Georgia co-labors in ministry with her husband, Senior Pastor, Dr. Joe A. Whitehead, Sr. at Faith International Worship Center , Atlanta, Georgia. Her teaching ministry has edified many in the Body of Christ and she is well known for her faith and trust in God. Dr. B’s unique, keen and often humorous spiritual insights flow from a wealth of personal experiences. Her life has been filled with faith-testing opportunities to watch God prove His trustworthiness. Dr. B is also, the founder of Women of Positive Change and the administrator over the Ministry of Helps. Her passion of God is contagious as she communicates Biblical truth in practical terms. Using scriptural examples and real-life stories, she encourages people to embrace God’s promises, grow in their understanding of who He is, and live a life that He honors.
Her love for Christ and people has earned her great respect with all that have come to know her.
In October 2001, Dr. B was honored by the “Women Looking Ahead” celebration of Georgia’s Most Powerful & Influential Women.

During her sophomore year in High School (1975), she met her high school sweetheart, Joe A. Whitehead. To this union the Lord has blessed them with three lovely, powerful, and anointed children (Shakela, Joe Jr. and Shamilia), 2 sons-in-love (Harold and Levi), 1 daughter-in-love (Melissa) and 5 grandchildren (Jayden, Darion & Ramiyah, Johnathan and Caleb) whom are blessed to call her G-ma. Dr. B is the 4th child born to Billy and Grace Zachery of Decatur, Ga.
